College House Structure
Our College House structure comprises of four pastoral groups that students remain a part of for their entire journey at Encounter.
Family members who work at Encounter are placed into the same House and in Years 10 -12, these House groups form students’ Home Class.
The Houses meet three times a term where students from all sub-schools participate in various activities. The students from each House also have opportunities throughout the year to represent their House in a diverse range of activities, including Sports Day, CrossCountry, Just Dance, Encounter Quest and many more. These events provide opportunities for students to collate points towards our House Cup (the Borgas Shield).
Encounter Lutheran College acknowledges the Ramindjeri people of the Ngarrindjeri Country as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and learn. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
