Encounter Lutheran College has a $7 million building program underway which sees their current Middle & Senior School area being transformed into an indoor space with agile, breakout learning spaces, seven new state-of-the-art learning studios and a Year 12 kitchenette and common area.
The Administration Building will also be expanded as part of the project to include much needed space that will house key staff, including the College Counsellor, IT Helpdesk and a dedicated Student Services area complete with triage rooms. Principal Kelvin Grivell stated that “this is an exciting time for Encounter. We continue to expand our facilities to ensure that we can offer our current and prospective students and families access to a contemporary and supportive learning environment. We are also pleased that the final stage of this build will see a significant solar system and water retention tanks installed to capture the abundance of elements that our unique location provides.
