Congratulations to Leo Torok (Year 7) for being crowned U/14 State Champion for Surfing in 2020. The State Titles consisted of 3 rounds held
separately at Middleton and Yorke Peninsula. Leo’s results included:

Round 1- 3^rd

Round 2- 1^st

Round 3- 1^st

The competition for State Titles is highly competitive with strong surfers from the Fleurieu, Mid Coast, Yorkes and Streaky Bay. We are extremely proud of Leo and excited to have a surfing State Champion in our Encounter community.

Congratulations to Zach Palmer (Year 9) who also competed at the State Championships on the weekend in the Under 16s and made the finals finishing 3rd in Round 2 and 3rd in Round 3.
