Hello,

I am Alexander Haynes. I will be teaching in Year 4 this year.
This is my fifth year of teaching. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Navigator College in Port Lincoln and St Mark’s Lutheran Primary School in Mt Barker.
Growing up I spent much of my childhood on the basketball court and have enjoyed playing with my beloved Saints team once again. 
I was also privileged to be a founding student of Encounter and look forward to giving back to the school that I truly value.
It is incredible to see the development of Encounter both physically and educationally. I am pleased that Christ’s love remains at the heart of the
College.
I have the calling as a teacher to empower students to take ownership of their learning and I am fulfilled by seeing the action they take as a
result.
I looked forward to connecting further with the Encounter family and being a part of it’s exciting future.
