Hearts & Minds Newsletter 2026

As many of you would know, this year has begun a little differently for me, with all of Term 1 spent away from school on Long Service Leave. With Christmas and the term break included, it has certainly felt like a long time away from the everyday life of the College. Returning this term, and hearing the stories emerging from experiences such as our Year 10 and Year 6 Canberra Camps, has been a reminder of the importance of stepping beyond our usual routines. While I was conscious of missing many significant events and moments across the school community, the extended time away travelling also provided something that can be difficult to gain in the midst of busy routines: perspective.
