From the Principal: Building Resilience Through Challenge
We live in a world where it is increasingly tempting to remove obstacles, smooth every path, and shield young people from hardship. As parents and educators, our natural instinct is to help. Yet some of life's greatest lessons are learned not through comfort, but through challenge. A powerful example is the monarch butterfly. If someone assists a butterfly out of its cocoon, it will often not survive. The struggle to emerge is what strengthens its wings and prepares it for flight. Without that challenge, it cannot flourish.
